OCP GmbH is in “Top 100“-Final The company qualifies for the well known award “Top 100 – the most innovativ company in medium sized business in Germany”

Hattingen - This fact pleases management and the 50 staff members of OCP GmbH as well: The company has done it's first step on the stony way to the admitted "Top 100"-hallmark of excellence. The German cross-industry initiative of the compamedia GmbH is examing the innovative management of middle class companys for the eighteenth time. The most imaginative companies in Germany will be determined and honored. Furthermore the company in first place obtain  the titel "Innovator of the year" . At the official presentation of prices on  July 1st 2010, Mentor Lothar Späth announces the top-innovators.

The staff at OCP GmbH is rightly proud about this first success, but there is no thought about relaxing yet. Now they got to prove that the OCP is indeed one of the most innovative companies in the german medium sized business sector. Along with it, OCP GmbH has to inspire the scientific directors around Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Franke from the university of economics in Vienna (Wien) with detailed information about the internal innovation management.

Previously OCP GmbH has managed it to convince the experts of innovation with their information about the economic key figures as well as the innovative accomplishments of the company.

If the Hattingers should reach their promotion into the league of "Top 100" , they would have excellent accompaniment: The economic analysis of the 100  most innovative german medium sized businesses members of the past years has shown that 54 percent of them are national market leader and 22 percent of them are even on the podium on a world-wide scale.

The project "Top 100"

At the distinction of medium-sized  "Top 100" businesses  the innovational strength of the participating companies will be examined by the independent scientific part. The team of the  university of economics in Vienna will use a two-stage procedure to investigate the performance of the participants in five central points: "Success of innovation", "Climate of innovation", "Innovativ process and organisation", "Supporting innovation of top-management" and also "Marketing of innovation".

In case of success the medium sized companies - especially in comparison to major corporations-  maintain their ground as a innovativ business partner, what particularly is relevant for the costly Business-to-Business sector and at financial negotiations. In July 2010, the distinguished companies will not only receive their hallmark of excellence. Furthermore the network of the "Top 100"-members make sure that  there will be contacts and cooperations on a high level.
With assitance of the benchmarking report the companies additionally could extend their strenghts and optimize their weaknesses.
