Canon Pixma iP2500 - photo printer for price conscious users applies new cartridges with small amount of inks
With the Pixma iP2500 photo printerCanon mainly adresses to design- andprice conscious users.
The printer is coming in a deep gleaming black body with a mirror finish and silver outlines It will be available from April at a street price of 59,00 €. At that cost, 30 pages of Canon photo paper as well as a Creative CD with suggestions for photo printing are contents of delivery.

The Canon Pixma iP2500 will be delivered together with the new cartridges PG-37 und CL-38. These cartridges can be indeed confounded with the already known PG-40 und CL-41, though they have an essentially lower page yield. This is declared by Canon with 220 pages for the PG-37 and 205 pages for the CL-38 cartridge. In comparison with that, the standard cartridges which can also be used in this printer have a page yield of 355 pages (PG-40) and 308 pages (CL-41). This yield information are, as usual, reffering to a coverage of 5%.
If there is a compatibility between the inks for this cartridges to them of the Canon PG-40 and CL-41 has currently to be determined.
